Activity Leader - Scouts

Activity Leader - Scouts image

Position Description

Program Information: Scouts enjoy outdoor adventures like mountain biking, rock climbing and lots of camping while working together with other young people to accomplish thrilling challenges. Scouting gives every member a chance to be a leader. It might involve running an activity, organizing a camp, or participating with other young people across your province or Canada in a youth forum.

If you have an interest in the outdoors and have leadership skills that you'd like to share, please apply. Community resource people can be used to teach specific skills.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week plus occasional weekends is ideal, but if you have less time than that to give, that is okay too.

Training needed: We provide all the training needed to help you lead the youth through their program. You will never be alone with the youth, and you will work with an experienced volunteer.
