Social Marketing for Non-Profits Workshop

Social Marketing for Non-Profits Workshop

Social marketing is an approach used to develop activities aimed at changing or maintaining people's behavior for the benefit of individuals and society as a whole.

Volunteer Comox Valley, together with Hans Peter Meyer, is proud to bring a collaborative series on social marketing to the nonprofit sector.

Often the question is: when is it appropriate to launch a social marketing campaign and what is the best approach? With the right stratagem organizations can reap the benefits. This would not just include volunteer recruitment, expanding awareness, enhancing business relationships and charitable donations, but ultimately and most importantly increasing social prosperity driving behavioral change.

This six session long series aims to teach the basic principles of social marketing, acclimatize organizations to existing social marketing trends, and allow organizations to share ideas and trends with each other, together in a group for the first time ever. If you have ever thought about creating a social marketing campaign sign up as soon as possible.

The first day of the series takes place October 13th and registration is $40/day $200/series for members and $50/day $260/series for non-members of VCV. Organizations interested in attending should contact Tyler Voigt at 250-334-8063 to register.
