Thanksgiving, Thank a Volunteer

Thanksgiving, Thank a Volunteer

This Thanksgiving, thank a Volunteer for their outstanding contributions to our community!

Volunteer Comox Valley is encouraging residents of the Comox Valley to get creative and craft (or purchase) ‘Thank You’ cards for volunteers. These can be for a specific volunteer that you know, a non-profit organization that you admire, or a general card to any volunteer. These cards can be completely anonymous, or sent from an individual or group – we also encourage children to get creative and contribute their own cards as well. You can mail or drop them off at the Volunteer Comox Valley office (Unit C1, 450 Eighth Street – V9N 1N5) - and they will deliver them to volunteers in person and let them know that they are loved, valued and appreciated.

So far Volunteer Comox Valley has delivered over 50 thank you cards and many more to come. The goal is to send as many cards as possible throughout this Thanksgiving season and into fall, to remind all the volunteers in our community of how important their work is – and how grateful we are for their contribution. This project will continue on throughout the year, because it’s always ‘the right time’ to thank a volunteer! For more information you can contact Volunteer Comox Valley at 250-334-8063.
